Abstract:
Your IASC membership affords you benefits and opportunities that you might not be fully aware of. Join IASC Executive Director Caren Burgermeister on a journey through the ins and outs of your IASC experience. Take a tour of the iasc-commons.org website. Learn how to find IASC members in your field of research or in your region. Learn how to update your own membership profile so your colleagues can find you! You’ve read the IASC Newsletter, but may not know how to announce your events, publications, or job opportunities. Have you wanted to organize an IASC event? Do you want to know who the IASC Council members and Regional Coordinators are? Maybe you want to sponsor an IASC membership for a young scholar or practitioner. Are you curious about the IASC Early Career Network? Dane Whittaker, IASC-ECN Membership Officer, will join us to tell you all about it. Do you want to learn more about the International Journal of the Commons? Mike Schoon, Co-Editor, will be on hand to give us the scoop about the IJC. Join us for this 90 minute workshop on how to get the most out of your IASC membership, and bring your questions with you!
